Daniel Stagno was born in Hjo, Sweden in 1982. He studied piano at the Academy of music in Malmö, under the guidance of professor Hans Pålsson. He received his Bacherlor's degree in 2004 and his Master's degree in 2007. He has also studied at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland, under Hamsa Al-Wadi Juris. He has participated in numerous masterclasses with among others prof. Liisa Pohjola, prof. Charles Rosen, prof. Petras Geniusas, prof. Thomas Schumacher, prof. Matti Raekallio, prof. Staffan Scheja and prof. John Humpreys. He has received many scholarships. He is also a devoted chamber musician and composer. |
